the room was beautifully furnished with a lovely bathroom and comfortable sitting area. the bed was too hard for my taste and the church bells rang every half hour.

The grounds around the hotel are quite charming, with well-tended gardens that create a lovely outdoor space to unwind. The historical architecture of the building is visually impressive and adds a unique character to the experience.
The accommodations, particularly the attic rooms, present significant issues. For instance, in room 220, the low wooden beams severely restrict usable space, making it uncomfortable for anyone taller than 5'5" and creating a constant risk of bumping your head at night. The steep, narrow stairs leading to the room make it a hassle to manage luggage, especially for those traveling with heavy bags. the bathrooms could use updates, and the consistent ringing of nearby church bells can become bothersome day and night, negatively impacting the relaxation expected during a stay. meal prices, including breakfast at 20 Euros, were perceived as high compared to the options and quality offered, leading to a sense of dissatisfaction overall.

Best stay ever!
I had an amazing time here. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help me after a car mishap. The food at the restaurant was on point, especially the dinner! Just wish the Wi-Fi was better, but everything else was fab.

excellent stay but a couple of minor issues
The warm welcome from the staff made us feel right at home, particularly the attentiveness shown by Laura and Christoph. Our traditional double room was not only gorgeous but also exceptionally comfortable, providing a perfect nighttime retreat. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, with delicious options that left a lasting impression. The splendid views from the hotel's gardens added a picturesque charm to our experience.
The Wi-Fi connection in our room was quite limited.
